Dr Ford Lumban Gaol is currently  Professor of Computer Science, Binus  University. He is the Head Department of Doctor of Computer Science and Research Interest Group Leader “Advance System in  Computational Intelligence & Knowledge Engineering Binus University.

Dr Ford Lumban Gaol is the Chair of IEEE Computer Society Indonesia Chapter as shown in http://ieeecomputer.id/team and also IIAI ASEAN  President as shown in http://www.iaiai.org/top/?page_id=8 

Dr Ford is the Research Fellow at RCAISS in Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology,  Tokyo Metropolitan Public University Corporation, Japan and also Advisory Board of Shridhar University – India. Dr Ford is Visiting Professor of Sam Houston Texas University, USA starting 2024 till 2030. Dr Ford is the Research Fellow of Algoma University Canada since 2025. He is the Fellow of Alliance for AI & Humanity (AAIH), Singapore. Dr Ford was the Vice Chair of IEEE Indonesia section and former Chair of  the ACM Indonesia.
